Why We Needed a Brand Refresh

At Your Brand Mate, we've always taken pride in delivering top-notch UI/UX design and motion graphics that resonate with our clients and their audiences. But as we’ve grown, we realized that our brand identity wasn’t fully capturing the craftsmanship and depth of service that we provide. One piece of feedback from a client truly resonated with us: our work deserved to be presented better; and honestly, they were right. This feedback, coupled with our own aspirations to evolve, sparked the decision to embark on a brand refresh. We knew that presenting our work more effectively would not only elevate our client relationships but also fuel our growth as an agency.

Crafting the New Identity

Our brand’s updated identity wasn’t just about a new look; it was about infusing more meaning and layers into every aspect of us. The new logo features three overlapping squares that create a 3D effect. This design choice symbolizes the depth in the relationships we build with our clients. Our previous logo, with two overlapping squares, represented the alignment between our agency and our clients. The third square in the new design adds an extra dimension, and showing versatility in how we now work with our clients. This new approach reflects our commitment to being more than just a service provider—we are partners in our clients’ success. And that’s exactly why we’re called 'Your Brand Mate'—because we’re here to stand by your side, every step of the way.


Revamping the Website

The logo was just the beginning, we also completely re-desgined our website to make it more dynamic, interactive, and client-focused than ever before. We wanted our website to clearly convey who we are, what we do, and how we do it. The blue shade, a color that has always been part of our identity, remains, grounding us in our roots while allowing us to innovate elsewhere.
When it came to typography, Safiro wasn’t our first choice, but the moment we encountered it, we knew it was perfect. It’s got that playful yet edgy vibe, which is exactly how we see ourselves. The new website while being our digital portfolio, is an immersive experience that gives our clients a real sense of what it’s like to work with us.


Looking Forward: Building Stronger, Lasting Relationships

This revamp is more than just a facelift; it’s a statement of intent. We’re here to make lasting impressions with our work, and we believe that the best way to stay relevant in this ever-changing industry is by fostering long-term partnerships that are grounded in shared goals. Through the process of this overhaul, we want our clients to understand us better, to see where we’re coming from, and to know that we’re in this for the long run. We genuinely care about the success of our clients, and we view our relationships with them as partnerships that grow stronger over time.

The Journey: Lessons Learned

Let’s be real—the process wasn’t easy. The initial days were tough as we were in the process of finding the right direction. But once we locked in on the path we wanted to take, the ideas started flowing, and it felt like there was no stopping us. The entire process—from planning and strategizing to executing—took about two months, and it was nothing short of a rollercoaster.
Personally, this journey taught me a few important lessons. First, some of the best ideas come under pressure—when the stakes are high, creativity finds a way. And second, failure is not a big deal. Every setback we encountered only made our final vision that much stronger. Looking back at where we started and where we’ve ended up, I couldn’t be prouder of the work we’ve done. We’re now more energized than ever to create and innovate in ways that truly make a difference.
